I am offering my beautiful Schacht Matchless spinning wheel for sale as my husband bought me another wheel for our 25th anniversary. This is a lovely wheel with a soft cherry color to it. It is in very good working order and can spin anything you like, thick, thin or lace. This wheel can be used with scotch tension or double drive, and is a pleasure to spin with. The wheel is true and not wobbly, and the treadling action is smooth. There are minor dings and tiny flaws that you can expect with use and love. The only significant flaw would be some spots of something on the treadle - I do not know what it is or if a stronger cleaner would get it off. (Please see picture) The wheel includes 3 bobbins, a new drive band, oil and oil holder, and a pound of washed shetland fiber to get you started.
