I have a Cat 8,000 RP generator.
This unit is a beast by far!
This unit sometimes will act up.
Some days it runs perfect for as long as you need it
Some days it starts and automatically shuts right back off.
I don't know what could be the problem.
I have cleaned the carburetor already.
I have unplugged the CO detector already.
I have checked the spark plug.
I have done check the oil Gas Ect.
I don't know what could be the problem maybe someone out there knows exactly what it could be.
It does have both a 120 & 240 Plug.
Has 2 outlets! For 110 use!
Also has a key start switch.
And it either needs a new battery or a new starter one of the 2 once in a while it will turn over but no more then 3 times and then you have to pull start.
It is a Key start and pull start.
Has a CO detector for safety incase you leave in on and a not so ventilated area.
Other then that this Cat generator is a hoss it has worked when I really needed it.
And some days it also has not.
I'm asking 450 Or Best offer!
