12.2 hands
11-13 years old
Chocolate Silver Dapple
Honey is looking for her forever person. She is a lovely Rocky Mountain Pony mare. Lovely sturdy build and gorgeous color. Honey comes from a case of neglect, unhandled and untrained. She also had a mild case of founder. She has been with us for months getting sound, fit and learning to be a riding horse. She has a very smooth four beat saddle gait. She will also walk, canter and gallop. She adores trail riding and enjoys exploring with her human partner. She is best suited for an advanced beginner as she is still learning and needs a confident handler. She is happiest with a rider who will be her leader. She has handled any type of trail we have put her on. She is surefooted with tough obstacles, soggy trails or difficult terrain. She loves a challenge and going new places. She is fine with traffic, farm equipment and atvs. She rides well with other horses and will lead or follow. She has courage and confidence in the arena or on the trail. She is intelligent and very trainable. She has been barefoot sound on easy footing and is sound on rocks and hard pack with front shoes. This little mare has come so far and is ready for her own person!
She is up to date on vaccinations, coggins, worming, dental and trims. She stands tied to a trailer, rack or overhead. She loads and rides well in trailer. Gets along with geldings or mares.
